Many people have lost their jobs during the recession. We need innovative thinkers, like Kevin, to get our economy moving again and make Minnesota a business friendly state. Our region is a leader in renewable energy and Kevin will be a strong voice at the State Capitol for expanding the use of wind, solar, ethanol, and bio-diesel energy.

Kevin believes it’s time to stop relying on shifts, gimmicks and borrowing to balance the state budget. A county commissioner, Kevin has balanced budgets and understands that in these economic times it is necessary to retool government. Kevin will make the tough choices necessary for long-term solutions to address the state’s financial challenges.
Affordable Health Care
As a county commissioner, Kevin has gained valuable insight into the state’s health and human services needs. With Kevin’s input, our local counties have the lowest health and human services expenses in the state. While we must provide a safety net for the most sick and vulnerable among us, the state must also be vigilant about controlling costs.
